A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following an incident involving a dog in South Wales.
Police were called to Blair Way, Aberavon at around 7am this morning after a 24-year-old was injured.
A dog, which has been confirmed as a Pitbull and Staffordshire Terrier cross, has been sedated and removed from the scene by police.
